If you support a candidate because of their position and want to donate, there is nothing wrong with that. I support candidates that support my basic principles, but I do not require them to support every position I have.

If an organization wants to donate money because they support a candidate with no strings attached, fine. But by requiring the signing of the pledge, you are saying support our organizations policies or you will not get our support or money. That is blackmail.

Bush and the republicans (and some congressional Democrats) had eight years to put us in the mess we are in. It is going to take more than 2.5 years to get us out of it.

Parasite? I pay plenty in taxes and pay a lot more than I receive. But I am alright with that. I just want them to cut the stupid spending that both parties are guilty of. Both Republicans and Democrats have wasted a lot of our money since 2000.

Saying no tax increases is not compromise, it is bullying to get your way. To straighten the budget out it is going to take cutting of costs and reversing many of the Bush tax cuts. Anyone with any intelligence knows if you are running a loss, youhave to cut costs and increase revenues.

Compared to today, the build quality of all of the big three was plain awful in the 70's and 80's. I am on my second Mustang. The 07 Mustang the build quality was great but there was a lot of hard plastic that made it look cheap. Also that Mustang was T-boned by a Civic.
